Sophie Kalwa
B.Sc. architecture
After successfully completing her bachelor's degree in 2020, Sophie is currently enrolled at the Leibniz Universität Hannover for a master's degree in architecture and urban planning.
The bachelor's degree was followed by an internship and by working as a student at Muck Petzet in Berlin. During her current master's degree, she spent a semester at the ETH in Zurich. Back in Hanover, Sophie has been supporting the CITYFÖRSTER team as a working student since 2022.
Her main interest lies in the area of building in existing buildings and the issue of sustainability and climate compatibility of construction. But she is also interested in sociological theories and their connection with the fields of architecture and urban planning.
